best practices in humanitarian program management to his role as Director at Hiil Development and
Research . Mr. Ali has honed his skills through various diploma trainings, including social research,
humanitarian diplomacy, community development, and project management. His extensive experience in
program management within the complex context of Somalia, collaborating with a spectrum of INGOs,
UN agencies, and government institutions, underscores his capacity for strategic leadership and effective
implementation of change initiatives.

Climate Change Justice. She presently serves as the Executive Director at HIIL SOM, leveraging her
expertise to spearhead policy-driven initiatives against climate change. With a background in working
with international NGOs and the government of Somalia, Fahima brings a wealth of experience to her
current role. Holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Governance and a Bachelor's degree in
Environmental Science & Management, she is well-equipped to drive impactful change. Beyond her
professional endeavors, Fahima is an influential figure on social media, using her positivity and boundless
energy to inspire others to protect and safeguard the environment.

inclusion have earned her the position of team leader within Hiil Gender and Social Inclusion unit. Her
